STEAM miniCamps are in session
Ms. Ashlyn is partnering with Upturn Arts, a non- profit in New Orleans, LA, this summer to offer mini STEAM camps to youth ages 5-12.
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math)
Combining STEAM subjects with mini camps can provide children with a rich and engaging learning experience, especially during the summer when they have more time to explore and discover.
Upturn Arts is a fun and creative program that teaches children in the New Orleans community to explore and build confidence in themselves through artistic expression. Their vision is to provide “Arts for All.”
Upturn Arts believes collaboration breeds artistic creativity and confidence in young artists. Their programs give every child the freedom to express themselves in a safe, encouraging, and positive environment regardless of artistic talent or ability.
LEGO Camp
At LEGO mini camp, children ages 5-12 will embark on a journey of imagination and discovery as they explore different challenges each day. Led by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about LEGO builds, campers will learn valuable STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) concepts in a playful and engaging environment.

Join us for an unforgettable journey filled with exciting adventures, thrilling games, and lots of laughter. Social group is designed especially for kids like you who love to explore, learn, and have a blast with friends.
The best part of camp is the friends you'll make. Our social group is made up of kids from all walks of life, each with their own unique interests and personalities.

Literacy Camp
Welcome to literacy mini camp, where words come to life through the power of illustration! Our camp is designed to spark creativity, foster a love for reading, and develop artistic skills in children ages 5-12.
A literacy camp for kids that incorporates illustration can be a wonderfully engaging and educational experience. Here's a brief overview of what such a camp might entail:

ARTiculation Camp
Join us for an exciting and interactive journey into the fascinating world of communication at ARTiculation Camp! Designed for curious young minds aged 5-12, this camp offers a unique blend of science, language, and fun-filled activities aimed at enhancing children's speaking skills while unraveling the mysteries behind effective communication.
Learn the science of speaking, accents, and dialects from a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience how actors learn to speak in different accents for their movie roles. Explore the science and art of speaking at this mini camp through creative projects.
Throughout the camp, participants will engage in hands-on experiments and workshops. They'll discover the science behind body language and storytelling, gaining valuable insights into how language shapes our interactions and understanding of the world around us.
